The Vagrant Twitcher has attained his 1000th bird for the African Big Year 2019! A White-breasted Cuckooshrike availed to show himself after about three hours of hard searching in the Mole National Park. I am not sure who was the most ecstatic – Kwame, our bird guide, or yours truly. The Mandela shuffle was danced in celebration, and at the hotel a more spiritual celebration was concluded with Ghana’s best hops and malt.
